Job summary

MacQueen Equipment is seeking a Heavy Truck & Equipment Field Technician to perform on-site inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs at customer locations. This role requires strong troubleshooting in hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems, plus travel overnight as needed.

You’ll work with the Service Manager to schedule field service calls and document work. A valid driver’s license and 3+ years in a similar role are preferred; the company offers benefits and

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a full-time technician role working on heavy-duty equipment
• Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical troubleshooting experience
• Welding and cutting torch experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs at customer locations
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems on heavy-duty equipment
• Collaborate with Service Manager to prioritize and schedule field service calls
• Complete detailed service documentation including labor, parts usage, diagnostics, and repair summaries
• Travel overnight as needed, including multi-day trips
