Job summary

Palmer Trucks seeks a Service Mobile Technician to diagnose and repair heavy- and medium-duty trucks from a service mobile unit. The role requires high expertise, independent work time, and adherence to the highest safety standards while driving service vehicles.

Responsibilities include performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy vehicles, documenting work on Repair Orders, and driving to test components before and after repairs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic Computer skills and Repair Order Processing Software.
• A valid commercial driver's license is preferred but not required.
• Working hours may vary, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance procedures.
• Run diagnostic tests for issues and performance.
• Determine course of action for damaged parts and systems.
• Routinely use computerized equipment and specialized tooling.
• Complete assigned repairs and tasks in a timely and safe manner.
• Record time, cause and correction on Repair Orders.
