Job summary

University of Alabama at Birmingham seeks a Program Manager for the Mobile Unit in the School of Public Health. You will administratively manage a remote/mobile program, develop objectives, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders while guiding data activities to support evaluation and implementation.

The role requires independent judgment, willingness to travel extensively, and oversight of staff and contractors within a Biosafety Level II mobile lab environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and three (3) years of related experience required.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred; paramedical examiner experience preferred.
• Preference for a degree in Public Health or related.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages the ongoing development and maintenance of the program.
• Manages all data-related activities to support the program's evaluation and implementation according to an established project plan.
• Develops protocols and procedures to standardize data collection, safety monitoring and reporting efforts.
• Develops and manages timelines to ensure compliance requirements and recommendations throughout funded periods.
