Job summary

ALLIES seeks a versatile Medical Assistant with EMT or MA background to support our stationary outpatient clinic and community-facing mobile medical unit. In this hybrid role, you will manage patient intake, assist licensed providers in clinic rooms and at outreach sites, perform venipuncture, point-of-care testing, injections, and oversee supply and unit readiness.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; graduation from an accredited EMT-Basic/Paramedic program OR an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Licensure/Certifications: EMT (NREMT) with BLS/CPR or CMA/RMA/CCMA with BLS/CPR; 10 years of experience in lieu of certification; valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• 4-5 years of outpatient clinic, urgent care, ED, or EMS field service experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile medical unit: drive, setup, logistics, and on-site safety.
• Perform rapid patient intake, vital signs, and EHR documentation.
• Assist physicians, NPs, or PAs with exams and minor procedures.
• Perform venipuncture and point-of-care tests; administer IM, subcutaneous, and intradermal injections.
• Manage clinic/admin tasks and supply/inventory control.
