Job summary

Elica Health Centers seeks a Front Desk Clerk to register patients, collect fees, and input data into the electronic health record system. You will greet patients and provide outstanding customer service while supporting Providers with non-medical tasks.

The role requires high school diploma, BLS certification, and HIPAA knowledge. Multilingual abilities are valued to assist a diverse patient base in Sacramento.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• HIPAA knowledge is a must.
• Knowledge of modern office equipment.
• Knowledge of basic medical clinic care and procedures a plus.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients, collect fees, and enter registration data into the EHR.
• Greet and serve all patients and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist Providers in non-medical tasks.
• Check-in patients and complete full registration including insurance and IDs into EPIC.
• Enter patient data into EPIC and perform clerical tasks.
• Collect payments at registration and reconcile cash after visits.
