WebstaurantStore, a leading online provider of restaurant equipment and supplies, is seeking a Front-End Development Manager to lead a mobile-focused engineering team across iOS and Android. You will coach, align priorities, remove obstacles, and drive technical excellence while delivering great customer experiences and scalable front-end platforms.

You'll partner with Product, Design, and Engineering to ship features that solve real customer problems and help our platform stay ahead in

Qualifications

• 5+ years of development experience, including experience building and delivering mobile applications.
• Experience building mobile applications, familiarity with React Native and TypeScript, or leading teams that do.
• 3+ years of experience leading and growing developers through coaching, feedback, performance management, and career growth.
• Experience leading project delivery and coordinating work across cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture, performance, testing, and maintainability.
• Experience partnering closely with Product, Design, Accessibility, and Engineering throughout the product development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of developers through feedback, mentorship, hiring, and career development.
• Build a collaborative, accountable team culture with clear priorities, ownership, and expectations.
• Guide the delivery of new features, technical improvements, and platform initiatives while removing obstacles and managing risks.
• Provide technical leadership by helping the team navigate tradeoffs and maintain high standards for quality, accessibility, performance, and maintainability.
• Improve engineering practices, team processes, and ways of working.
• Partner closely with Product, Design, Accessibility, and Engineering to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Communicate priorities, progress, and risks while connecting engineering work to customer and business goals.
• Contribute to technical strategy and continuous improvement across the front-end organization.
