Floor Coverings International - JDR in Columbus, OH is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive in-home sales using our Mobile Flooring Showroom. You will run appointments, present options, and close deals on the spot with pre-set leads and a network of trade partners.

This hunter role rewards hustle with a $50,000 forgivable draw plus uncapped commissions, aiming for $100K+ in year one for top performers. Flexible schedule and company van provided to support field coverage.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in outside/in-home/direct sales, flooring or home-improvement a plus.
• Proven track record of closing sales and handling objections.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build trust quickly.
• Comfort with basic math and price estimating.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage your own pipeline.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Run in-home sales consultations with pre-set, warm leads.
• Present flooring options and pricing, and close the sale on the spot.
• Recommend solutions matching style, needs and budget.
• Manage pipeline: proposals, follow-ups, next steps.
• Hand off closed projects to install team for a seamless experience.
• Build referral networks with past customers and trade partners.
• Prospect and develop new opportunities.
