Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking skilled technicians to install and diagnose GPS, telematics, dash cameras, and related equipment across fleet vehicles. You will service light-duty cars, trucks, trailers, and mobile assets, performing 12V/24V wiring, routing cables, and testing system functionality.

Ideal candidates have strong automotive/electrical experience, problem-solving skills, and the ability to read wiring diagrams.

Qualifications

Hands-on automotive, electrical, mechanical, or installation experience.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Professional communication and customer service skills.
Ability to read basic wiring diagrams and technical instructions.

Responsibilities

Install and troubleshoot GPS, ELDs, telematics, dash cameras, sensors, and tracking equipment.
Work on light-duty vehicles, commercial trucks, tractors, trailers, and other fleet assets.
Perform basic 12V/24V wiring, including power, ignition, ground, diagnostic, and trailer connections.
Route and secure wiring for clean, professional installations.
Test GPS, cellular connectivity, cameras, sensors, and system functionality.
Diagnose electrical, connectivity, and installation issues.
Document completed installations with photos, device information, and service notes.
Travel to customer and fleet locations for mobile installations and projects.
