Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking skilled technicians to install and troubleshoot GPS, ELDs, telematics, dash cameras, sensors, and related equipment across our fleet assets. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and right-first-time installations in a mobile environment.

You will work with light-duty vehicles, commercial trucks, and trailers, performing 12V/24V wiring and wiring routing while traveling to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on automotive, electrical, mechanical, or installation experience.
• Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and basic diagnostics.
• Able to read wiring diagrams and technical instructions.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot GPS, ELDs, telematics, dash cameras, sensors, and tracking equipment.
• Work on light-duty vehicles, commercial trucks, tractors, trailers, and fleet assets.
• Perform basic 12V/24V wiring, including power, ignition, ground, diagnostic, and trailer connections.
• Route and secure wiring for clean, professional installations.
• Test GPS, cellular connectivity, cameras, sensors, and system functionality.
