Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking skilled technicians to install and troubleshoot GPS, ELDs, telematics, dash cameras, sensors, and tracking equipment on light-duty vehicles and commercial fleets.

Travel to customer sites for mobile installations, work with industry-leading fleet technology, and maintain safety and quality with right-first-time workmanship. A valid driver's license and ability to lift 50 lbs required.

Qualifications

Hands-on automotive, electrical, mechanical, or installation experience.
Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and basic diagnostics.
Reading wiring diagrams and technical instructions required.

Responsibilities

Install and troubleshoot GPS, ELDs, telematics, dash cameras, sensors, and tracking equipment.
Work on light-duty vehicles, commercial trucks, tractors, trailers, and other fleet assets.
Perform basic 12V/24V wiring, including power, ignition, ground, diagnostic, and trailer connections.
Route and secure wiring for clean, professional installations.
Test GPS, cellular connectivity, cameras, sensors, and system functionality.
Diagnose electrical, connectivity, and installation issues.
Document completed installations with photos, device information, and service notes.
Maintain safety, quality, and right-first-time installations.
Occasionally travel to customer sites for mobile installations and projects.
