Job summary

Epika Fleet Services' Fleet Mobile Maintenance division is seeking skilled technicians to troubleshoot, diagnose, inspect and repair Class 8 commercial tractors and trailers. You will work on-site or mobile calls, document work orders, and provide prompt customer service.

The role requires 5+ years of repair experience, a valid driver's license, the ability to lift 50+ pounds, and comfort with billing and work orders on computers. You can earn bonuses and enjoy a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience repairing Commercial Tractors and Trailers.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record & no suspensions.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Comfortable working with Computers for billing and work orders.
• Follows verbal and written work orders to stay on track with daily repairs.
• Confident explaining a diagnosis over the phone and helping the customer decide next steps on repairs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, inspect and repair our customers Class 8 Commercial Tractors Trailers, their bodies, systems and components.
• Writing detailed work orders - working Mobile Road Calls and/or In Yard.
• Provide quality customer service, including responding promptly to client queries.
• Performing preventative maintenance and inspecting, servicing, and replacing tractor and trailer parts, including tires, hubs, and axles, adjusting or replacing as required.
• Checking and repairing the brake, electrical, and hydraulic system; Testing all systems and equipment for performance issues.
• Ensuring that trailers meet the U.S. Department of Transportation's road safety requirements.
• Compiling inspection reports, documenting repairs, and reporting all findings to management.
