Job summary

Epika Fleet Services, Inc. is seeking skilled technicians for Fleet Mobile Maintenance. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Class 8 tractors and trailers, perform mobile road calls and in-yard service, and ensure DOT safety compliance.

We offer a Monday–Friday schedule with rotating on-call, weekly pay, paid time off, time-and-a-half for after-hours work plus a $100 bonus per after-hours call, plus a comprehensive benefits package (401(k) with match, medical, dental, and vision).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience repairing Commercial Tractors and Trailers.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Comfortable using computers for billing and work orders.
• Follows verbal and written work orders to stay on track with daily repairs.
• Confident explaining a diagnosis over the phone and helping the customer decide next steps on repairs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, inspect and repair Class 8 tractors and trailers.
• Writing detailed work orders - working Mobile Road Calls and/or In Yard.
• Provide quality customer service, including responding promptly to client queries.
• Performing preventative maintenance and inspecting, servicing, and replacing tractor and trailer parts, including tires, hubs, and axles, adjusting or replacing as required.
• Checking and repairing the brake, electrical, and hydraulic system;Testing all systems and equipment for performance issues.
• Ensuring that trailers meet the U.S. Department of Transportation's road safety requirements.
• Compiling inspection reports, documenting repairs, and reporting all findings to management.
