Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services is seeking qualified diesel technicians to diagnose, inspect and repair Class 6-8 tractors and trailers. You will handle brake, electrical, engine, A/C and exhaust work with a focus on quality and safety.

You'll perform preventive maintenance, DOT inspections, and paperwork, while maintaining fuel, parts, and tool readiness. A strong customer-service mindset and reliable teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience repairing Commercial Tractor and Trailers.
• Experienced in performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record & no suspensions.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, and repair Class 6-8 tractors and trailers, including brakes, electrical, hydraulic, A/C, engine, exhaust, systems, components and after‑treatment systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections; service and replace parts like tires, hubs, axles, and lift‑gates.
• Write work orders and open/close repair orders on a company device for mobile road calls and in‑yard work.
• Inspecting tractors and trailers to meet the U.S. Department of Transportation's road safety requirements.
• Manage service truck inventory and source parts from local vendors.
• Complete inspection reports and DOT documentation accurately and on time.
• Deliver strong customer service and report findings to management.
