Job summary

Torque by Ryder is seeking a Permanent Full Time Automotive Technician to support our Truck Fleet in Raleigh, NC. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain light-duty trucks, with opportunities for mobile service and on-site projects.

The role includes weekly pay, a $2,000 retention bonus paid quarterly in year one, and comprehensive benefits. Requirements include a high school diploma, vocational/technical training, and 3+ years combined education/experience, plus a CDL A preferred and a DOT

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Vocational or professional diploma preferred.
• Three+ years of classroom training and work experience combined.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, inspect and perform preventative maintenance for fleet vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance like tune-ups, oil changes, tire changes and fluid checks.
• Diagnose and replace engine parts, transmissions, and fuel components as needed.
• Operate mobile maintenance vehicle and travel to customer yards within region.
• Document work orders and repair notes in Salesforce and maintain records.
