Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking an Automotive Installation Technician to join our growing team. You’ll install and support GPS, telematics, cameras, sensors, and other fleet technology across vehicles and trailers.

This hands-on role is ideal for someone with automotive, electrical, or fleet installation background who enjoys learning new technology. We offer paid training, career development, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Experience with automotive repair or electrical systems.
Ability to read basic wiring diagrams and perform diagnostics.
Comfortable working in a mobile environment and using hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

Install and troubleshoot GPS, ELDs, telematics, dash cameras, sensors, and tracking equipment.
Work on light-duty vehicles, commercial trucks, tractors, trailers, and other fleet assets.
Perform basic 12V/24V wiring including power, ignition, ground, and trailer connections.
Route and secure wiring for clean, professional installations.
Test connectivity, cameras, sensors, and system functionality.
Diagnose electrical, connectivity, and installation issues.
Document installations with photos and notes; travel to locations for mobile installs.
