Job summary

Transwest Mobile Truck & Trailer is seeking an experienced diesel technician to diagnose and repair medium to light-duty diesel trucks in the field across designated service areas. You’ll work with engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, and drivetrains using OEM manuals and diagnostic tools.

You will lead preventive maintenance and unscheduled repairs with minimal supervision, operate specialized equipment safely, and document findings for customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience on medium/light-duty diesel platforms.
• Mastery of diagnostic tooling and OEM/service information.
• Strong troubleshooting under pressure and time management.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair medium/light-duty diesel trucks in the field—engines, hydraulics, electrical, brakes, and drivetrains.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools and service manuals to get to root cause quickly.
