Transwest Mobile Truck & Trailer in Houston, TX, provides mobile repair services across AZ, CA, NV, TX, and UT. We seek an experienced field technician to diagnose and repair diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems, travel in a company vehicle, and keep fleets online with clear diagnostics and timely updates.

Responsibilities include PMs, breakdowns, lifts with cranes, precise documentation, and coaching newer techs.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with diesel, hydraulic, or electrical systems.
• Advanced diagnostic proficiency and systematic troubleshooting under pressure.
• Own tools appropriate for heavy equipment service.
• Valid driver's license; able to operate a company vehicle.
• Lift 50+ pounds; work indoors and outdoors.
• ASE certifications or OEM training (CAT, Hyster, Cummins, etc.).
• Direct field service/mobile repair background.
• Customer-facing experience or project leadership on jobsites.

Responsabilidades

• Hit the road in a company-provided service vehicle to restore uptime.
• Tackle maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Use diagnostic tools and OEM manuals to pinpoint issues quickly.
• Schedule PMs and urgent breakdowns, working safely and independently.
• Deploy cranes and equipment to perform safe lifts and component swaps.
• Document work—parts, labor, and findings.
• Guide entry-level techs and share field-proven techniques.
• Continuously adopt new industry methods to improve quality and speed.
