Job summary

Utility Lines Construction Services (ULCS) is seeking a Mobile Fleet Equipment Service Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles and equipment. The role includes diagnosing engine, electrical, fuel and brake systems, with field testing and strict adherence to safety standards.

Experience in automotive/heavy equipment repair is required, along with a High School diploma and a CDL.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with specialized vehicle and equipment repair coursework.
• Minimum of three years’ experience as a mechanic in automotive, trucking or heavy equipment environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough preventive maintenance inspections.
• Perform unscheduled repairs as needed.
• Repair engines, electrical, fuel, brake and exhaust systems; conduct field tests using manuals and drawings.
• Document repairs and parts on work orders in Fleetio and other required software.
• Follow safety provisions per OSHA/ANSI/DOT and EPA disposal regulations.
