Job summary

United Utility Services is seeking a skilled Fleet Field Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet vehicles and equipment across field and job-site locations in Georgia. You will diagnose diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and related systems, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safety for roadside and remote locations.

Regular travel and overnight stays are expected. This role requires independent field work, strong diagnostic abilities, and coordination with OEMs and vendors.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of field-service or heavy equipment repair experience preferred.
• Vocational or technical training in diesel, automotive, hydraulics, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, inspect, diagnose, and repair fleet vehicles and equipment at field locations and job sites.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance per manufacturer recommendations.
• Troubleshoot diesel engine, hydraulic, electrical, brake, steering, suspension, driveline, PTO, and related systems.
• Coordinate with OEMs, dealerships, and vendors for outside repair support.
• Document maintenance and repair activity in fleet management system.
