Job summary

DRIG seeks skilled independent technicians for fleet automotive electronics installations. This 1099 role involves traveling to customer locations to install GPS trackers, dash cameras, remote start, and related devices in cars, trucks, and semis.

Contractors manage their own schedule, choose assignments, and earn per-install compensation ranging from $30–$60 per hour, with mileage reimbursement and timely payments. Safety and QC support are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience installing aftermarket automotive electronics in vehicles (GPS trackers, dash cams, car audio, remote start).
• Solid understanding of 12-volt vehicle wiring.
• Able to supply your own tools and materials for professional installations.
• Reliable vehicle to travel to customer locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation and configuration of aftermarket automotive electronics.
• Deliver high-quality workmanship from start to finish.
• Maintain documentation for each job and ensure installations meet specs.
