Job summary

DRIG seeks skilled technicians to join its network as independent contractors specializing in fleet automotive electronics installations, including GPS trackers, dash cameras, remote start systems, and other fleet telematics devices.

This 1099 role lets you control your schedule, travel to customer locations, and accept assignments based on availability. You’ll work with DRIG’s QC team to ensure quality, and enjoy competitive per-install pay, mileage reimbursement, and reliable payments.

Qualifications

• Experience installing aftermarket automotive electronics in vehicles (GPS trackers, dash cameras, car audio, remote start).
• Solid understanding of 12-volt vehicle wiring.
• Ability to supply your own tools and materials.
• Reliable vehicle for customer travel.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• MECP certification is a plus.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure aftermarket automotive electronics across various vehicles.
• Deliver high-quality workmanship from start to finish.
• Maintain accurate documentation for each completed job.
• Communicate professionally with customers at job sites.
• Coordinate with DRIG's QC team at job start and review scope.
• Follow applicable safety and compliance standards.
