Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring an experienced maintenance technician to perform standard and complex mechanical repairs on a fleet of cargo vans and box trucks, including mobile service to diagnose and repair issues at customer locations. You may drive Budget Trucks on public roads as part of repair or transport needs, ensuring safety and reliability on every job.

Minimum 2 years of mechanic experience on medium- or heavy-duty equipment; ASE certification required (with ability to obtain 2 more

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience performing mechanical repairs on medium- or heavy-duty equipment.
• At least 1 ASE certification, with ability to obtain 2 additional ASE certifications within the first year.
• Must have a complete set of automotive and diesel repair tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and complex mechanical repairs on a fleet of cargo vans and box trucks with minimal supervision.
• Include preventive maintenance, oil and fluid services, tire, brake and suspension work, electrical diagnostics, and warranty repairs.
• This role includes mobile repair; may travel to a vehicle’s location to diagnose and resolve issues, and may drive Budget Trucks on public roads.
