Job summary

Neurable is seeking a mid-level UX Designer in Boston to craft mobile-first experiences across health, wellbeing, and cognitive performance. You will prototype, test with real users, and work closely with engineering, product, neuroscience, and research teams to validate ideas and drive design decisions toward implementation-ready work.

You’ll translate feedback and usage signals into compelling product experiences, contribute to a culture of evidence-backed design, and ship impactful features

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of UX design, product design, interaction design, or related experience
• A portfolio showing shipped product work in at least one: game design, health applications, lifestyle products, consumer apps, wellbeing products, or mobile-first experiences
• Evidence that your design work drove meaningful results (engagement, retention, behavior change, usability, conversion)
• Strong fluency in mobile-first design and small-screen constraints
• High proficiency with Figma and modern prototyping tools
• Ability to generate implementation-ready designs in days, not weeks
• Strong product judgment and ability to explain design patterns
• Comfort using qualitative feedback and usage metrics for decisions
• Clear communication and collaboration with product, engineering, research, and stakeholders
• Energy for in-person work with a tight-knit, fast-moving team in Boston

Responsibilities

• Design and prototype mobile-first experiences, with desktop, dashboards, internal tools, and customer surfaces
• Translate concepts like focus, fatigue, cognitive state into product experiences
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and implementation-ready designs
• Test ideas through lightweight user research and usage data
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to evaluate tradeoffs and ship solutions
• Design experiences that are engaging without being manipulative or distracting
• Create design specs, annotations, and handoff materials for engineers
• Help shape Neurable’s design philosophy and foster evidence-backed design culture
