Job summary

PAPE’ MATERIAL HANDLING, INC. in Arlington, WA is seeking a Field Technician II to diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on a range of material handling equipment at customer sites. Travel within the region and provide high-quality service to keep operations running smoothly.

You will work with diverse equipment, communicate with customers effectively, and coordinate with the Parts Department to source necessary parts, while maintaining safety and professionalism on every visit.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience diagnosing/repairing equipment in field service.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred; must provide own tools.

Responsibilities

• Travel within assigned region to diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance at customer sites.
• Work on various equipment including electric forklifts, LPG and diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot issues, communicate clearly with customers, and coordinate with Parts for parts needs.
• Operate a service vehicle and maintain safety and high-quality service on every visit.
