Job summary

AVE-PLP, LLC is seeking a Service Technician – Mobile to diagnose, repair, and maintain customer and dealer-owned equipment in the field. The role requires operating diagnostic tools and following technical manuals, with focus on safety and accuracy.

You will communicate with customers, coordinate with the service manager, and participate in ongoing training to stay current with John Deere and competitive products. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of service repair experience preferred.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems in off-road/heavy equipment preferred.
• Valid driver's license required; reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance on customer and dealer-owned equipment, often away from the dealership.
• Follow Technical Manual procedures for maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain communication with customers and AVE-PLP staff about work performed.
• Participate in required training to advance skills and knowledge.
• Keep tools and work area organized and safe.
