Job summary

AVE‑PLP, LLC, a joint venture between AgriVision Equipment Group and PrairieLand Partners, seeks a Service Technician – Mobile to diagnose, service, and repair customer and dealer-owned equipment away from the dealership. You will work under the Service Manager and maintain high levels of customer communication.

The role requires hands-on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic expertise, willingness to travel, and commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of mandatory service repairs experience.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in off-road, construction, lawn, or heavy equipment.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance, typically away from the dealership, using proper tools and equipment.
• Follow Technical Manual procedures when conducting maintenance and repairs on machines.
• Maintain contact with customers about work performed on equipment.
• Participate in mandatory training programs to advance skills.
• Maintain knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
• Keep vehicles and tools in good working order and maintain a clean work area.
• Follow all safety rules and complete mandatory reports.
