Job summary

Granite Construction is seeking a Field Service Technician to troubleshoot and repair fleet vehicles, water well construction equipment, drilling equipment, and pump units at job sites and in the shop across Idaho.

Ideal candidates have experience in diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel; safety, teamwork, and reliable problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license; Class B CDL preferred.
• FMCSA DOT inspections qualification a plus; forklift/crane/welding certs beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Service trucks and equipment to meet field requirements.
• Operate equipment and tools for shop and field repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical assemblies.
• Rebuild or replace drill rigs parts and ancillary equipment.
• Maintain safety and compliance with transportation laws.
• Assist in shop fabrication and parts procurement.
