United Rentals in Boise, ID is seeking a Field Diesel Mechanic (Field Service Tech II) to perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of complex rental equipment in a safe, professional manner. You will travel to customer sites and document work performed, while supporting training of junior technicians and contributing to the Service Department's goals.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, valid license, 1–2 years of repair experience, and the ability to lift up to 45 lbs.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of repairing/maintaining vehicles and equipment or trade school graduate.
• Own tools applicable to position; strong mechanical background on engines.
• Excellent customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication.

Responsabilidades

• Safe maintenance and repair of complex rental equipment with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
• Travel to customer sites for repair/maintenance; keep service vehicle clean and professional.
• Assist in training lower level technicians as needed.
• Maintain work orders and documentation daily; assist with pickup/delivery of equipment and parts.
