Job summary

Siemens Healthineers in Columbia, SC is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support Varian Medical Systems equipment. You will troubleshoot, repair, install, upgrade and perform preventative maintenance across local customer sites.

This role requires strong electrical/electro-mechanical skills, travel within the territory, and adherence to vendor credentialing and safety standards. A HS degree or higher is required, with 3–7 years' related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required; associate degree/technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair designated VMS equipment within a service territory.
• Perform preventative maintenance, installations, and upgrades per VMS guidelines.
• Manage scheduling and customer communications; escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain territory management and submit field service reports and documentation.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with effective communication.
