Job summary

Allegiance Home Health Greater New Orleans is seeking an RN for traveling home health visits across the North Shore, LA area. You will assess patient health needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, document medical records, and coordinate with physicians and the health care team to optimize patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license with CPR certification, 1–5 years in home health, and a Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Nursing.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• CPR Certification required.
• Associates or Bachelor’s in Nursing with 1–5 years home health experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and vital signs.
• Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients.
• Coordinate with health care team and physician to evaluate patient care plans.
• Direct and supervise nursing personnel as needed.
• Instruct patients and families on health education and disease prevention.
