Job summary

LGSTX is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician (Multi Unit) to provide hands-on maintenance and infrastructure support across a district of two to five facilities. The role travels between sites, acts as the technical owner for facility systems, and coordinates contractors to ensure safe and compliant operations.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in facilities maintenance, strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and CMMS usage, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years in facilities maintenance or building engineering.
• Experience supporting complete building systems.
• Experience coordinating contractors across multiple sites preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience with HVAC (RTUs, split systems, exhaust).
• Knowledge of electrical distribution, lighting, panels, LOTO.
• Knowledge of plumbing systems and water infrastructure.
• Dock door & leveler maintenance experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and one-line diagrams.
• CMMS platforms and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on base building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, dock equipment, envelope).
• Travel between facilities to execute maintenance plans and inspections.
• Act as primary technical owner for facility infrastructure in the district.
• Diagnose equipment deficiencies and coordinate repairs.
• Conduct rounds and inspections to identify risks and deferred maintenance.
• Coordinate, dispatch, supervise, and QA contractors and vendors.
• Maintain CMMS work orders, asset history, and follow-ups.
• Serve as first-level escalation for facility issues and emergencies.
• Support uptime during peak operations and emergencies.
• Perform minor mechanical, electrical, or conveyor repairs as needed.
• Communicate with operations leadership on facility conditions and priorities.
• Ensure compliance with LGSTX, OSHA, and safety requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
