Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated seeks a Mobile Maintenance Mechanic to keep institutional facilities safe, functional, and presentable across Allen, McKinney and surrounding areas. The role covers plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and general systems with travel between sites to respond to work orders.

The position requires independent work, strong problem-solving, and 24/7 on-call availability. A high school diploma and trade certifications are required or preferred, with CMMS experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with relevant trade certifications as required by client scope or local jurisdiction.
• Minimum 3 years of general maintenance experience in commercial or institutional facilities.
• Valid driver's license with safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor plumbing repairs and leak resolution, fixture maintenance, and clog clearing.
• Electrical repairs including switches, outlets, and lighting maintenance.
• Carpentry tasks such as door adjustments and cabinet repairs, patching, painting.
• HVAC troubleshooting including thermostat adjustments and filter replacement.
• Process work orders in CMMS and meet SLAs and response times.
• Conduct routine facility inspections and coordinate with contractors as needed.
• Plan daily service routes and maintain company vehicles and equipment.
• Respond to on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as required.
