Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) seeks a Mobile Maintenance Mechanic to uphold safety, functionality, and appearance of institutional facilities. This role travels between Albuquerque and Gallup, NM, performing plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC tasks while handling CMMS work orders.

You will work with the Operations Manager, handle after-hours emergencies, and stay compliant with safety procedures. Strong troubleshooting and independent work skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with relevant trade certifications as required by client scope or local jurisdiction.
• Minimum 3 years of general maintenance experience in commercial or institutional facilities.
• Valid driver's license with safe driving record and ability to drive company vehicles safely in various weather conditions.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and building systems with HVAC knowledge as required by client scope.
• Demonstrated ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency using computerized work order systems (CMMS) and basic tablet or mobile device applications.
• Strong commitment to meeting service level agreements, response time standards, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and general systems.
• Respond to work orders in a timely manner from CMMS and coordinate routes.
• Inspect facilities and identify issues requiring contractor involvement.
• Maintain safe, clean work areas and report safety concerns promptly.
• Travel between multiple sites within assigned territory and operate company vehicles safely.
• Assist in snow/ice removal and ensure safe building access during shifts.
• Document maintenance activities, materials usage and job performance for records.
