Job summary

JLL is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Mechanic to support our facilities team across multiple properties. You will keep critical HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems running, performing direct maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work that sustains tenant satisfaction and property value.

The role emphasizes hands-on duties, safety compliance, and coordination with clients for minimal disruption while contributing to operational excellence on site in Syracuse/Watertown area.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems in commercial facilities.
• EPA Universal certification for refrigerant handling is preferred.
• Experience with CMMS for work order tracking and documentation is a plus.
• Background in skilled trades such as carpentry, painting, or sheet metal fabrication is advantageous.
• Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service HVAC infrastructure such as air handlers, cooling towers, fans, motors, and pumps.
• Repair and maintain plumbing systems including toilets, urinals, sinks, piping, and water features; detect leaks.
• Perform carpentry, sheetrock, sheet metal work, patching, painting, and exterior maintenance as needed.
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules and log work orders in the CMMS.
• Diagnose failures across mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems with safety in mind.
• Service equipment like dock levelers, garage doors, and site vehicles.
• Coordinate repairs with clients and participate in on-call rotations.
