Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Engineer to maintain facilities and support retail sites in the Plantation area, focusing on HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general building repairs.

The role includes driving a company vehicle and carrying essential tools and safety gear. You will oversee preventive maintenance, review inspections, manage work orders and inventory, ensure code compliance, and apply standard techniques to deliver reliable service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of related experience; combination considered.
• Universal CFC certification and valid driver’s license required.
• Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with Service Channel is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural and control systems.
• Review building inspections (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) to meet design and environmental specs.
• Demonstrate time management and organizational skills when reviewing work orders and estimating needs.
• Maintain truck stock inventory to ensure adequate supplies and tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance and oversee repairs and emergency maintenance as needed.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Operate company vehicles as part of daily responsibilities.
• Apply standard principles to complex tasks and provide innovative solutions.
• Lead by example and align with CBRE RISE values.
• Work within broad guidelines and policies.
