Job summary

CBRE seeks a Mobile Technician to service multiple buildings and industrial systems, focusing on preventive maintenance and repairs. You will handle mechanical, electrical, and life-safety systems, including fire doors, ensuring compliance and efficiency.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license, with 1–2 years of related experience. This is an on-site position with CBRE's Engineering and Technical Services team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of job-related experience.
• In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed building systems.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on fire doors and life safety systems to ensure functionality and compliance.
• Specialize in inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of facility fire and life safety doors per NFPA 80 standards.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and estimate time/materials; manage and track completion.
• Support energy management to ensure systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Respond to inquiries from clients, co-workers, and supervisors using clear communication.
