Job summary

CBRE Bloomington is seeking a Mobile Engineer to perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs for buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment, and grounds. You will work within the Engineering and Technical Services function to support and repair equipment and systems.

The role emphasizes maintenance planning, inspections, and compliance with safety and performance standards, with potential supervision responsibilities and a path to leadership within CBRE's RISE values.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
• In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Universal CFC certification and Valid Driver’s license required.
• Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs to mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems for the facility.
• Review assigned work orders, estimate time and materials needed to complete the repair and maintain inventory of supplies and tools.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure building machinery meets design specifications and perform emergency maintenance as needed.
• Review inspections of building and industrial systems (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) for compliant operation.
• Oversee compliance with codes, regulations, agencies, and company safety directives.
• Operate company vehicles in daily work responsibilities.
