Job summary

Swetman Security Service is seeking an Event Security Officer in Mobile, AL to maintain a safe environment during events. You will conduct bag checks, enforce access control, and apply safety protocols while delivering superior guest service.

You must be capable of standing for long periods, screening guests, and responding calmly to incidents. Prior security or customer-service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must possess outstanding oral and written communication skills.
• Able to exercise good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist with event-day preparation and execution.
• Control venue access by scanning tickets and verifying credentials.
• Screen guests with bag checks, detectors, and ID verification.
• Monitor checkpoints to prevent unauthorized access and protect guests and assets.
• Respond to crowd issues and escort disruptive individuals when needed.
• Follow venue policies, procedures and safety regulations.
