Job summary

ASM Global is seeking a Security Guard to patrol assigned territory and protect patrons and property during events. You will perform surveillance, control crowds, and respond to emergencies while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.

Required duties include writing incident reports, inspecting alarms, and ensuring premises are secure. Must be able to work varying shifts and meet physical requirements, with a strong emphasis on customer service and ethics.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively and prepare, maintain and analyze records and reports.
• Skill in cooperating with others; analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to handle conflicts and make sound decisions during high tension situations.
• Knowledge of security guidelines and applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Stand guard during events.
• Tour post periodically to ensure safety of patrons, staff, vendors, participants and others on premises.
• Handle disturbances or problems that arise during event or at the facility.
• Escort disruptive individual(s) to security office and/or off the premises.
• Write incident reports and review procedures with security supervisor.
