Job summary

Tarian is seeking a Security Officer to maintain a safe and secure environment, provide protective services, assist customers, and respond to incidents in support of site operations and client needs.

Responsibilities include monitoring entrances, patrolling guest areas, screening for prohibited items, assisting guests with special needs, and preparing incident reports. The role requires a pre-employment background check and ability to stand/walk for long shifts.

Qualifications

• Background check and drug screening required after conditional offer.
• Must obtain and maintain applicable licenses or certifications.
• Strong color and depth perception; capable of sustained vigilance.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended shifts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and authorize entry/exit of employees, guests and others.
• Patrol guest areas, enforce house rules, address safety concerns.
• Operate screening devices to detect prohibited items.
• Assist with end-of-show tasks and equipment handling.
• Write reports on daily activities and irregularities.
• Evict guests violating rules or causing safety hazards.
• Check tickets/passes for authenticity.
• Provide accommodations for guests with special needs.
• Direct guests to restrooms, concessions and seating sections.
• Ensure doors/windows/gates are secure.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
