Job summary

Tarian seeks a Security Officer to maintain a safe and secure environment at client sites, providing protective services, customer assistance, and incident response. You will monitor access, patrol guest areas, operate screening devices, and support event operations while upholding the company’s safety standards.

Responsibilities include enforcing rules, documenting incidents, assisting guests with special needs, and coordinating with team members to secure exits and equipment.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications.
• Strong vision abilities including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other persons.
• Patrol and roam guest areas, interact with Guests, and address safety concerns.
• Operate metal detecting devices to screen individuals.
• Assist with post-show venue closure and equipment storage.
• Warn persons of rule infractions or violations.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities as needed.
• Apprehend and evict Guests violating house rules or posing hazards.
• Verify tickets or passes for authenticity.
• Provide accommodations for guests with special needs prior to and on show day.
• Direct guests to restrooms, concessions, and seating areas.
• Patrol premises to prevent intrusion and ensure door/window security.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
