Job summary

Fluor Corporation seeks a maintenance technician to diagnose, repair and perform planned Preventive Maintenance on mobile equipment such as forklifts, skid steers and platform lifts. You will work with the planning department to keep CMMS records up to date and assist in millwright tasks on a 24x7 heavy industry site.

Requirements include a high school diploma/GED, 4+ years on mobile equipment, and strong knowledge of precision maintenance, bearings, gearboxes and lubrication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience on mobile equipment.
• Knowledge of precision maintenance with bearings, couplings, gearboxes, seals, bushings, torque and lubrication.
• Ability to read layouts, system drawings and equipment specs.
• Knowledge of standard and specialized maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and perform planned preventive maintenance on industrial mobile equipment.
• Maintain records in CMMS tied to work orders.
• Assist in millwright duties at heavy industry sites, 24x7 operations.
• Liaise with planning to schedule repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure safety and proper operation of equipment after service.
• Work with OEMs to diagnose issues and order parts.
