Job summary

EMR USA Metal Recycling in Hibbing, MN is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator to load, unload and transport scrap within the yard. You will operate material handling equipment safely, perform daily maintenance, and help meet production goals in a clean, team-focused environment.

This full-time role offers $21+ per hour, Monday to Friday, with health, dental and vision insurance, retirement plans with company match, PTO, 9 paid holidays, HSA/FSA, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating heavy equipment.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Maneuver in and around equipment to inspect, operate and maintain company property.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handler, front end loader, and other equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform daily maintenance and inspections
• Identify and process different types of scrap metal and report load details
• Meet production goals, keep worksite clean and organized, and assist with other tasks as needed
