Job summary

Speedrack is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator to support production needs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Michigan. You will drive forklifts and other industrial equipment, track material movement with a handheld scan gun, and load/unload trucks to meet production schedules.

You must follow the Powered Industrial Truck Program, adhere to safety policies, maintain good housekeeping, and work with teammates across departments to meet quality and productivity standards while

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read & write English.
• Must be able to read a tape measure accurately.
• Ability to pass an Industrial Truck Permit written exam and physical observation test.
• Adapt to changing job functions and work well with coworkers from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Support production needs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive forklift and/or other industrial equipment.
• Adhere to Powered Industrial Truck Program requirements.
• Record material counts accurately for loads and movements.
• Operate handheld scan gun to track material location and movement.
• Load and unload trucks and move material to departments.
• Maintain clean, orderly work areas and follow safety policies.
