Job summary

Speedrack in Michigan is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator to support production and logistics. You will drive forklifts and other industrial equipment, load/unload, and track material with handheld scanners.

You must understand the Powered Industrial Truck program, read measurements, and maintain safety and housekeeping while meeting productivity targets. This role typically follows a Monday–Friday schedule with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write proficiently.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Must be able to pass a written exam and functional tests for an Industrial Truck Permit.

Responsibilities

• Support continuous improvement initiatives for the facility.
• Drive forklift and/or other industrial equipment.
• Adhere to the Powered Industrial Truck Program requirements.
• Maintain accurate counts of material moved.
• Use handheld scanner to track material movement and location.
• Load/unload trucks and move material between departments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned areas.
• Follow safety policies and wear PPE as required.
• Attend to duties assigned by supervisors promptly.
• Meet productivity and quality standards while performing tasks.
