You will schedule maintenance, repair subsystems, read manuals and blueprints, test equipment after repairs, and work rotating shifts with overtime.

Qualifications

• Four years of vehicle and heavy equipment maintenance experience.
• Experience with front-end loaders, tractors, trailers, and other equipment.
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts and overtime.
• Completion of mechanical trade school or similar certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Schedule maintenance and keep service records.
• Test equipment after repairs for performance and spec compliance.
• Repair electrical systems and engines; overhaul transmissions.
• Fabricate parts from sheet metal as needed.
• Operate and inspect machines to diagnose defects.
