Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Mobile Equipment Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and overhaul mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment across our facilities. You will schedule maintenance, replace worn parts, test repairs for proper operation, and ensure safety compliance with manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years vehicle and heavy equipment maintenance experience or two years of trade school plus two years' experience as a mechanic.
• Must be able to operate mobile equipment such as front-end loader and tractor/trailer.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Schedule maintenance for industrial equipment and keep service records.
• Repair or replace damaged parts including braking, diesel, fuel, powertrain, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Test equipment after repair to ensure proper performance and compliance with specs.
• Diagnose faults and operate machines to identify issues.
• Read manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings for repairs.
• Overhaul and test equipment for efficiency and reliability.
