Job summary

CEMEX in Clinchfield, GA is seeking a Maintenance Journeyman to perform a variety of general maintenance and assist other mechanics. You will help repair mobile equipment and ensure production stays optimal, interfacing daily with operations at the site.

Responsibilities include mechanical work, parts procurement, tool usage, and safety compliance. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to read manuals and instructions in English.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read manuals and follow instructions.
• Good math skills for measurements and conversions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with frequent lifting to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist mechanic and skilled personnel.
• Perform mechanical work and repairs on mobile equipment.
• Procure and move parts, material, equipment, and necessary tools.
• Operate hoist during repairs.
• Store and transport used and/or damaged equipment.
