Job summary

Cemex US is seeking a maintenance mechanic responsible for all maintenance and repair of mobile equipment within our plant operations in Florida. Under supervision of the Plant Manager, you will diagnose issues, perform routine maintenance, and ensure safety and reliability of critical machinery.

The role requires a 2-year technical program and at least two years of related experience, with strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical school required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar industry.
• Ability to read manuals and schematics and follow maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and repair mobile equipment following PM schedules.
• Disassemble, inspect, and replace worn parts; troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Perform post repair tests and ensure equipment is safe and functional.
• Maintain clean work area and comply with safety rules and PPE requirements.
• Assist in coordinating routine maintenance and minor repairs as directed.
