Job summary

MiniMed in Los Angeles area is seeking a Software Engineering Manager (Mobile) to lead mobile app development, spanning Flutter, Kotlin, Swift, and back-end integration, with a focus on robust architecture and patient-facing experiences.

You'll manage a team, drive design reviews, collaborate with architects, and coach engineers while operating in a hybrid onsite model (3 days per week on site) in Northridge or San Diego.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 5+ years of relevant experience or advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience leading mobile app teams and delivering complex Flutter apps.
• Strong leadership and communication skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead mobile app development teams across iOS/Android.
• Guide architecture and design reviews and code quality.
• Collaborate with system and software architects on product needs.
• Coach developers and provide constructive feedback.
• Champion agile/scrum practices and timely deliveries.
• Ensure product quality with cross-functional teams (Systems, QA, Clinical).
• Engage with stakeholders and leadership to align roadmap.
• Maintain robust mobile apps and secure coding practices.
